Dybala’s Answer When Asked about the Move to Barcelona
Juventus striker, Paulo Dybala (23), responded to rumors about his move to FC Barcelona.
“I see what’s on television and in newspapers, it’s a rumor,” Paulo Dybala told the New York Times on Thursday (17/08/2017).
“However, my family, my friends, and the people in Cordoba who also saw it, thought that everything they saw was right that I would go to Barcelona or Real Madrid,” said the Cordoba, Argentina-born player.
Currently, Dybala is still under contract with Juventus until 30 June 2022.
However, it is not easy to explain to the people closest that he will still defend the Bianconeri.
“The people closest to me asked via chat, ‘Are you leaving?’ ‘Will you survive?’ ‘Are you going to play for Barcelona?’, “Said Dybala.
“It’s hard to explain to them what’s going on,” Dybala said.
The top assists in the Italian league in the 2014-2015 season with a collection of 10 assists is also praised Juventus.
“Juventus are a great club that is one level with Barcelona and in my contract there is no release clause,” said Dybala.
“So, everything is really in the hands of Juventus,” said Dybala.
When asked once more about the possibility of leaving to Barcelona, Dybala just replied jokingly.
“Yes, I will go to Barcelona,” said Dybala with a serious face which was then accompanied by laughter.
The news of Dybala’s move to Barcelona split after Neymar left Camp Nou and docked at Paris Saint-Germain on 3 August 2017.
PSG fantasticly redeemed the release clause Neymar in Barcelona worth 222 million euros, or about Rp 3.5 trillion.
